BlueCrest
Student Ambassadors
Program
BlueCrest has established ambassador program in 2021 with the following objectives:
- Engaging students with the College and management to provide an opportunity for ownership of our initiatives
- Developing the leadership skills of students.
- Providing a platform to students to learn, apply their learning in real-life situations and manage the assigned activities with supervision and guidance.
Overall, the ambassador program is aligned with our motto of Education for lives, focusing on practical skill based learning, and making sure that our students are successful. Student Ambassadors work closely with our Students Engagement Officer and Students Representative Council.
There are six categories of ambassadors. All the ambassadors are our students studying in our programs at the College.
Category One: Students’ Buddies
Students buddies, as the title suggests, act as friends for the new students enrolled in our programs. The buddies are in constant touch with new students to help them in settling down in the college and in the city, if they are not from Accra. New students get many kinds of support related to their student lives at BlueCrest from the buddies. The contact details of the buddies are provided to all new students and they also use WhatsApp groups to be in touch apart from regular in person discussions.
STUDENTS’ BUDDY
Category Two: Digital Ambassadors
Digital Ambassadors support the College, various departments and bodies in promoting BlueCrest’s digital initiatives. They also provide training and support to students to help them adopt technology and digital tools we use at BluCrest.
